Songs of Conquest
« Thread Started on Nov 17, 2007, 4:55pm »
I may be a bit of a newb, but during our party in AROME, I couldn't help notice the many lotr songs that appeared.
So I thought we could come up with a few of our own, if we get enough together, maybe a K-Tel Xmas Special!?!
I've posted the songs that I've come up with so far.
I'll also post on here songs that anyone else comes up with.

In Skele Army
Yes, you can sail the seven seas
In Skele Army
Yes, you can put your mind at ease
In Skele Army
Come on now, people, make a stand
In Skele Army, in Skele Army
Come on wave a bony hand
In Skele Army
Come on, protect the motherland
In Skele Army
Come on and join your fellow man
In Skele Army
Come on people, and make a stand
In Skele Army, in Skele Army, in Skele Army

Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, hey!
Skele, Skele man
I've got to be, a Skele man
Skele, Skele man
I've got to be a Skele! (all right)
Skele, Skele man (yeah, yeah)
I've got to be, a Skele man
Skele, Skele man
I've got to be a Skele! All Right!
Ugh! Skele..baby!
Bones, bones, bones wanna feel my bones,
Bones, bones, bones gonna thrill my bones,
Bones, bones, bones don'tcha stop my bones,
Bones, bones, bones it's so hot my bones

Come, lets go a-partying far
And see what may be our finds
Where Butterbur's Ale and cookies are
And biscuits of many kinds
Many songs we hope you will refrain
And instead our singing learn,
For on the morrow we'll be here again
To get the papers for which we yearn
We do not seek your hobbit ways
We will stay here till the end
Until the end of your singing days
Those surrender papers best you mend
Then as we all move on
A discovery you have made
Be glad that the Skeleton Army won
By partying and not by blade
After a while when we are bleary
From late nights, home-brew and ales,
We will return to our crypts so dreary
And leave peace in your dales
We will party but not fight
For our way is as we please
celebrating throughout the night
Perhaps it's best you give Ramazakal the keys
So with the papers of surrender
Dreams of hobbitry can return in your minds
Your region will again have splendour
And a bone or two left behind.
We do not seek your hobbit ways
We will stay here till the end
Until the end of your singing days
Those surrender papers best you mend
Then as we all move on
A discovery you have made
Be glad that the Skeleton Army won
By partying and not by blade

We come, we come with rattle of bone: ra-tatat ra-tatat ra-tatat tat!
We come, we come with whail and scream: wooooo oooo oooo arghh!
To Middle Earth! Though Middle Earth be biscuits and cookies with songs so nice;
Though Middle Earth be soft and comfy, as warm as toast and here there's no vice,
We go, we go, we go to party, to drink the ale and eat the sausage;
We're the Skeleton Army, wherever we go there's a bit of an outrage!
From a land of gloom with tramp of doom, with rattle of bone, we come, we come;
To Middle Earth with doom we come!
With doom we come, with doom we come!

Surrender
Try to forget torment
Lying behind a smile
Tears for sentiment
Now you've taken awhile
For that sweet surrender
You'll get what you deserve
We've given you our rhyme
Your dignity we will preserve
Now You've done your time
Surrender
We filled your hand with options
And a discovery you have made
One not tainted by emotions
We won by partying not by blade
